Edit Table Diagram

The table diagram is where you can view and edit your floor plan. The top panel displays options to add and delete seating sections, tables, and objects.

A section is an area in which you choose to include a seating arrangement. For example, you might want to create a dining room section and a bar section and use these sections to subdivide your main floor or other floors. To add a section, click on ‘Add Section’ on the top left corner of the window.

To delete any existing section, click on ‘Delete Section’, the black button on the top right corner of the window.

If  you want to edit an existing section name, change the name in the text box placed at the right side of the screen, and click on ‘Update Section’ button.

To delete an existing table from selected section, click on ‘Delete Table’, the black button on the top right of the window.

Creating / Editing the Table Diagram

1.   To add a table to any section, choose a section from those listed at the bottom of the window, then click on the table/seating you wish to add from the top panel (i.e. Tables, Booths, Sofas). If choosing ‘Add Tables’ you will be asked to choose a table type as shown below:

2.  Enter the number of tables you would like to create.

3.  Select a table size.

4.  Afterwards, the system will ask for the name of the table as shown below. Enter a table name, and click on ‘Enter’.

5.  You will then be given the choice to select a server for that table as shown in below screen shot. If you don’t want to assign the table to a server then you may skip step by clicking on the ‘Skip’ button.


6.  After making your selection, tables will be added to the section as shown below.

Tables will be added to the layout and can now be edited.

NOTE: When creating multiple tables, names will auto populate with sequential numeric values at the end as shown in the table diagram above. (e.g. Table1, Table2, Table3)

7.  Now you can change the arrangement of the tables. Click on a table or object and drag to match your business’ layout. For more detail check below screenshot.

Adding / Editing Objects

1.  You can also add an object to the table arrangement. When you click on the ‘Add Object’ button, the system will prompt you to choose an object type:

2.  Select the object you want to add. The system will then ask for an object description.

3.  After entering the description, click ‘Enter’, The system will ask if you want to show the object name.

4.  To move an object simply click and drag. You can also resize an object and set different foreground / background colors using the ‘Text Color’ and ‘Change Color’ buttons.

5.  To update any item’s name, click on the section, table, or object. Enter the new name in the right-hand dialogue box, and press ‘Update Section’.

NOTE:  When you are done with making changes to your ‘Table diagram’, remember to click on the ‘Save’ button. In case you do not want to make any change, click on the ‘Cancel’ button.
