Pizza Setup

In Pizza Setup you can create a separate section for customizing pizza preparation.

When you click on the Pizza Setup button, this opens the Pizza Setup window. From here you can manage several options:

  • Create New Pizzas
  • Toppings
  • Sizes
  • Crusts
  • Sauces
  • Prices
  • Specify Tax
  • Printer Setup
  • Kitchen Monitor Setup

Before adding a new pizza, you’re going to need to add sauces, crusts, sizes, and toppings. In most cases, a Pizza Department should also be created. If you need to add a Pizza Department, learn more about adding a department here.

Add Sauces

  1. Click Add Sauce in the top menu. This will launch the Pizza Sauce Setup window.
  2. Click Add, and fill in all the required information.
  3. Click Save. The new sauce will be displayed in the list to the right.

Add Crusts

  1. Click Add Crust in the top menu. This will launch the Pizza Crust Setup window.
  2. Click Add, and fill in all the required information.
  3. Click Save. The new sauce will be displayed in the list to the right.

Add Pizza Sizes

  1. Click Add Size in the top menu. This will launch the Pizza Size Setup window.
  2. Click Add, and fill in all the required information.
    *Default Topping Price refers to how much each topping costs for the selected size.
  3. Click Save. The new size will be displayed in the list to the right.

Add Toppings

  1. Click Add Toppings in the top menu. This will launch the Pizza Topping Setup window.
  2. Click Add, and fill in all the required information.
  3. Notice that the pizza sizes should be displayed. To edit a topping price, click on the price you would like to change, enter the new amount, and press OK.
  4. Click Save. The new topping will be displayed in the list to the right.

Add a New Pizza

  1. Once you’ve added your sauces, crusts, sizes, and toppings (preferably in that order), click the Add button in the top menu.
  2. Fill in the required information. Double-click on each box of the price matrix to enter a price value for each crust-size combination.
  3. To Add Default Toppings, first make sure your Max Free Number corresponds to the number of default toppings you are going to add.

    Click on Default Toppings, and single-click the toppings you would like to add.
    From here, you can also create choose which toppings go on specific fractions of the pizza (i.e. half, third, quarter, etc.)

    To Add Default Toppings to specific sections of the pizza, click one of the fraction tabs. Click on the section where you want to add toppings (the active section while be
    in white). Click on the default topping to be added to that pizza section, and it will display in the list to the right.
  4. When you are done adding toppings, press Done.
  5. From here, you can also select a tax percentage under Extra Information, and assign the item/new pizza to a specific Printer and Monitor.
  6. When you are finished, press Save.

EDIT and REMOVE buttons are present in every step of the Pizza Setup process.

  • To EDIT any item, highlight the item and press Edit. Make your changes and press Save.
  • To REMOVE any item, highlight the item and press Remove.

NOTE: The values for the crust, size, and toppings are independent of the values that you add or edit in the pizza type. For example, if you have just added Pizza A, saved it and now decide on adding a particular topping and crust size to the already existent list, the additions made would be applicable to all pizzas and not just to pizza A. For associating any topping, crust type, size and portion to a particular pizza order, you will have to do so while taking the order.
